I've had a pretty productive day.

Made a few new pieces, set up an advert on Facebook and I've been researching ways to improve my business....that is, I've been trying to find places who'd be interested to sell my jewellery. I've had offers in the past but never felt I had time or enough stock to do it. At the moment I have unlimited time!

These little pretties came to life today and I'm quite happy with them if I may say so myself : )

Haven't written in a few days, sorry about that. My darling dog is at the vet having surgery on her tummy. I'd found a few lumps and it got decided they would be removed today. Greyhounds and sedation is always a bit risky so I'm quite nervous.

I do have a bunch of new jewellery to photograph and list but it will have to wait just a little bit longer.

It looks like summer is finally here! I love the sunshine, the higher temperatures and all the flowers and insects. I just wish it would stay longer! Oh, well. Time to get off the computer and go ouside and enjoy the weather while I can.

Ok, my great plan of making a flapper headdress fell apart. I'm just not motivated enough at the moment to fight the cats about the feathers. What I am doing currently is to try to take better photos for my website and Etsy shop. I'm no pro but I think they look alright.

Using a lightbox has helped a lot. I don't get the glare and reflections I got when taking photos in daylight on my kitchen table!

And while faffing around with the camera I found an old necklace of mine with a pic of Theda Bara. Such a cool lady! She's now something of a gothic cult figure. I know some fusion bellydancers have a thing for her as well.
